Study abroad scholarships: Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao is now inviting applications for the New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) 2023 – 24. The scholarship package offers a range of award options from NZD 10,000 to NZD 20,000 per student.

Interested candidates have time till October 15, 2023 to apply for these scholarships at the official website — studywithnewzealand.govt.nz.

There are a total of 29 scholarships available for Indian students aspiring to study in New Zealand.

Eligibility

— Candidates should be at least 18 years at the time of application.

— Aspirants should hold current citizenship of India (and not be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand or Australia).

— Applicant should be residing in India at the time of application.

— Students must meet Immigration New Zealand’s requirements for a student visa.

— Candidates should hold an unconditional offer for the one of the NZEA eligible courses.

These scholarships have been designed exclusively for Indian students. This scheme is a joint initiative of Education New Zealand and New Zealand’s eight universities. “The awards are designed to encourage high calibre Indian students to pursue undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications at one of the New Zealand universities, all of which feature in the top 500 of the 2023 QS World Rankings,” the official release stated.

To complete this application, you will need to upload the following documents:

— Evidence of offer of place at a New Zealand university

— Curriculum Vitae

— All academic transcripts

— Proof of Indian Citizenship and every other country for which you hold citizenship

You will also need to provide the names and emails of two referees to request references.
